Summary

Your Summary is a 280-character elevator pitch about yourself. If you had to market yourself in one Tweet, what would you say? Think of your accomplishments and passions. If you are actively looking for a position, use this as an opportunity to mention that.

Video Introduction

Your Video Introduction is a very efficient way for you to get noticed and discovered. An employer can learn more about you beyond your skills and experience. Try and keep the length of your video between 30 to 90 seconds.

There are three ways to add a video to your Profile:

Record a video directly on Jabord with your webcam or phone camera
Upload the file of a recorded video from your phone, computer, tablet or a professionally recorded video (300 MB max)
Upload a video to YouTube and copy & paste the link here. If you are doing this switch the video to Unlisted. This will allow the video to be shown on your Jäbôrd Résumé and not in search results on YouTube.com

What is a Company Interactive Career Page?

Jabord is a talent attraction platform that provides smart tools for candidates and companies to better represent themselves and find each other. One such tool that is central to our mission is the Company Interactive Career Page.

The Company Interactive Career Page consists of a structured company profile that you are fully in control of. This is where you can add all the information about your company in designated sections, and where you can post job opportunities in your company. Giving candidates an inside look at your company is the best way to attract the right people. Showcase your culture and what you stand for. What is it that you do, and how do you accomplish it? How do employees take your company further?

How do I utilize the Company Interactive Career Page?

Company Interactive Career Pages are built within our no-code editor and are published on Jabord.com/company/"companyname", and can also be published/linked with your website to be used as your standard Interactive career page.

Candidate Sign Up Options

How do I create a candidate Jabord account?

There are 3 ways to create a candidate Jabord account:

With your Email. Enter your email address during sign up. We’ll email you a link for verification. Click on the link and you’re ready to set your own password. Once you set your own password, you can sign in to your new Jabord account.
With Facebook. You can choose to sign up for Jabord with Facebook by clicking the Facebook button on the sign up page. Login with your Facebook credentials for authentication. Once the authentication is completed, you will automatically be signed in to Jabord.
With Google. You can choose to sign up for Jabord with Google by clicking the Google button on the sign up page. Login with your Google credentials for authentication. Once the authentication is completed, you will automatically be signed in to Jabord.

|| We will never post anything to Facebook or Google without your permission. Additionally, any updates of personal information on Facebook or Google will not be updated continuously in Jabord and vice versa. The importing of basic information is a one-time action on sign up.

I don't remember if I created a candidate Jabord account and which method I used. How do I login?

Jabord uses your email address as its unique identifier regardless of signing up by email, Facebook, or Google. If you use the same email across all of your accounts, Jabord will recognize the email address and log you in to your existing acco

Interactive Resume: Applying, Sharing, Exporting

The ultimate purpose of building an interactive Resume on Jabord is to share it exclusively. You have put in the effort to add a lot of good information about yourself and now it is time to share. Let's look at your options:

Direct Link

Every interactive resume on Jabord has a unique link that can be shared off-platform. You can Copy and Paste this link anywhere. If you are applying to a job on an external application hosted by another job board, company career page, or applicant tracking system (ATS), there are often great places to add your link in an application such as a website/social account field or a cover letter section.

| A standard template for adding your link in the cover letter section of an external application can go something like this "Hi <>, I have created an interactive resume where you can learn a lot about me and includes a CoverVideo. Please view it by clicking on the following link: <>."

QR Code

Every direct link on our platform also has an associated QR code. QR codes are an easy way to transfer your interactive resume in an in-person setting from one device or medium to another. Have your QR code ready when at an interview or a job fair for example. You can access your QR code in the Share tab when logged into your account on a browser or our mobile apps. You can also print out your QR code and place it on a business card or resume.

What is an ATS 1-way sync?

A 1-way sync allows your company to import your open job requirements from your ATS and display them on your Jabord Company Page. Candidates can then apply to the job position, and Jabord collects the application on your behalf. In order to view applications, please log in to your employer Jabord account.

What is an ATS 2-way sync?

A 2-way sync allows your company to import your open job requirement from your ATS and display them on your Jabord Company Page. When a candidate applies to your job, the candidate data is sent directly to your ATS for processing.
